Mathew Reiter is Principal at Capitol Associates, Inc., a bipartisan lobbying, and policy analysis firm located in Alexandria, VA. Matt represents the firm’s clients on legislative and regulatory health policy issues including provider reimbursement, value-based payment systems, administrative simplification, and efforts to reform the U.S. healthcare system. Since joining CAI in 2014, Matt has worked with corporate and non-profit organizations for healthcare providers, healthcare facilities, patient advocacy groups and health plans.

Matt provides legislative and regulatory updates to clients at conferences and membership meetings. Matt helps clients build and implement an effective government relations operation. He also helps clients engage with media organizations to broaden the reach of their advocacy messages.
Matt’s interest in public policy was fostered by his internship for Congresswoman Nita Lowey (D-NY).Prior to working at Capitol Associates, Matt spent three years at a lobbying firm supporting its healthcare, agriculture, appropriations and energy practices.
