Capitol Associates, Inc. (CAI) offers year-round paid federal government relations legislative internships. Candidates are expected to have good writing skills and a background or interest in public policy, health care, and/or political science is preferred. Eligibility is limited to undergraduate students with Sophomore or Junior standing.

Legislative interns work on a variety of projects that support the firm's federal government relations efforts on behalf of clients including: attending and reporting on relevant workshops, briefings, meetings and Congressional hearings; assisting in the preparation of reports and legislative summaries; researching informational materials; as well as editing and proofreading

Please note the following application deadlines:

• Spring Internship (January - May): November 1
• Summer Internship (May - August): March 15
• Fall Internship (September - December): June 15

Starting and ending dates are negotiable and usually depend on school schedules.

This is a full-time internship with daily office hours Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
