Branden Cordeiro

Associate

Branden advocates on behalf of CAI’s clients on legislative and regulatory issues in the healthcare sector. He started as a Government Relations Associate at CAI in January of 2022 after working as an aide at the Massachusetts House of Representatives for Representative Steven Howitt.

In the Massachusetts Legislature, Branden worked on a diverse portfolio of legislative priorities and built coalitions of stakeholders across the political spectrum to support the Representative’s priorities. In addition, he worked passionately to help constituents navigate state government during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. He also worked with federal and state officials to help secure COVID-19 relief funding for critical priorities within the district.

Before working in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, Branden had various internships, including in Governor Charlie Baker’s Administration. He assisted in reviewing applications for constitutional and statutory appointments by the administration and volunteered on his record-breaking re-election campaign in 2018. He also worked for public relations and communications firms in Washington, DC.

Branden graduated from Boston University in 2020 with a B.A. in International Relations with a Foreign Policy and National Security concentration. He is from Swansea, Massachusetts, and resides in Arlington, Virginia. He loves to play hockey, travel, spend time outdoors and explore new restaurants. He also is a diehard fan of the Bruins, Red Sox, and Patriots.
